THE YOUTH SERVICE is open to all. It is an opportunity, using various mediums, to demonstrate and explore a variety of different issues and subjects, and to explore faith and experience worship. There is also a slot afterwards to engage in games or take part in various projects, such as audio-visual production and recording.
The Youth Service and Going Deeper take place on alternate Sunday evenings at St Mark’s at 6:30pm.

GOD is passionate about young people, and so are we at St Mark’s! We very much value and enjoy their contribution to the life of the church, and our desire is to encourage them in their love for God and his ways.
GOING DEEPER is an opportunity for 11-16 year olds to get together in the youth room and explore the issues that face them today. It is a chance to go deeper into these issues through open discussion; sharing what the Bible and other real-life experiences of Christianity have to say regarding these issues. It is also an opportunity for young people to pray for each other. Table-tennis and other games are also available afterwards.
Communicating God’s true nature is of great importance to the Going Deeper team: He is a God of love who wants us to experience life in it’s fullness. As such, young people are encouraged to be proud of their faith and share it with others.
