The Alpha Course

 Alpha is a relaxed, fun and free ten-week practical introduction to the Christian faith suitable for those interested in learning about Christianity or simply wanting to brush up on the basics.

At St Mark’s Church we run the course twice a year on Monday evenings during the Autumn and Spring terms. Each evening starts with a delicious home cooked candlelit evening meal followed by a short talk and time for open discussion in small groups. Topics covered during the course include Jesus, Prayer, the Bible, God’s Guidance, the Holy Spirit, Healing, and the Church. As part of the course there is also a day away.
