Your community needs your creativity!
Enter our design competition now for a chance to name the made-over hall at St Mark’s.
We are looking for a new name and a logo for the hall at St Mark’s, which will be launched once all the work to fix the entrance and toilet areas is completed – and so we are running a competition open to everyone. There will be winners in categories from pre-school to senior citizens and the finalists have a chance of having their name and design adopted as part of the makeover.
The name and logo need to appeal to the community. They need to show that the facilities at St Mark’s can be used separately to the church, that they are a community centre in their own right. At the same time, it is important to keep St Mark’s in the mix. For example, <>@St Mark’s might be a good starting point, but this is just a suggestion. All ideas are welcome in this competition.
Entrance to the competition is free and you can get your entry form online. Send your name, drawing, name and logo in by 31 May and feel free to inspire us with paint, charcoal, mosaics, and any other materials that can possibly be used. Finalists will be announced and previewed at a special open evening where a winner will be selected.
